I'll Be There, a service of Knox Adaptive Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the I'll Be There mobile application and the website at illbethereapp.com (together, the "Service").

Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to help your family stay connected:

How We Use Your Information

SMS and Messaging

How you opt in: You provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages from I'll Be There when you create your account and verify your phone number in the app. We send texts only for the purposes you've agreed to — such as account verification and notifications about your family's activities. We never share your phone number with third parties so they can market to you.

We do not sell or share your phone number or messaging information with third parties for their marketing purposes. If you opt in to receive text messages from us, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of using the Service.

Children's Privacy — Our Highest Priority

I'll Be There exists to help the people who love a child be present for that child's games and activities. That means our Service necessarily handles sensitive information — a child's first name, the activities they take part in, and when and where those activities happen. We treat this information with more care than anything else we hold, and we have designed the Service from the ground up to protect it.

Our promises about children's information: We never sell it. We never use it for advertising or marketing. We never use it to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. We never share it outside the family group a parent has set up. And we never make a child's location visible to anyone a parent has not personally chosen to include.

Parents and guardians are in control

A child's information is only ever added and managed by their managing parent or guardian. The parent decides which activities are recorded, which family group(s) a child belongs to, and who is allowed to see them. Sharing is granular and opt-in: a parent chooses exactly which family members receive updates about each child — person by person — rather than broadcasting to an entire group. Parents can review, correct, or delete their child's information, or change who can see it, at any time, directly in the app or by contacting us.

Who can see a child's activities and location

A child's activities and locations are visible only to the members of the private family group(s) that the child's parent has chosen to share them with. They are never public, never searchable, and never visible to other users of the Service. To further protect children, we apply these safeguards by design:

How we minimize location information

We collect and show only the location information needed to help family get to a child's game — the venue for an activity, and an approximate sense of how far away it is. A parent can set a private "home base" and enable a privacy mode so that their precise home address is not exposed to others in a group. We do not track a child's real-time movements, and we do not build location-history profiles of children.

Children under 13

Children under 13 do not create or hold their own accounts. Any information about a child under 13 is provided and controlled by their parent or guardian, who acts on the child's behalf and provides consent under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. A parent may review the information we hold about their child, ask us to delete it, and refuse to allow further collection at any time by contacting us at the email below. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information directly, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Teens ages 13 to 17

A teen aged 13 to 17 may use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian, and any teen account is created or authorized by that parent or guardian. Teens are treated as minors within the Service: they cannot hold organizing roles, and the same protections that apply to younger children apply to them.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

Data Retention & Your Choices

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by contacting us. You can also disable location sharing and notifications from within the app.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and secure authentication. No method of transmission is ever 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your family's data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
