Text Message Notifications & Opt-In

Last updated: May 31, 2026

I'll Be There sends optional text message (SMS) alerts so family never misses a child's game. This page explains exactly how users opt in, what we send, and how to opt out. Messaging is always optional and is never required to use the Service.

How users opt in

Users opt in through a consent form when they sign up for I'll Be There. They enter their own mobile number and must actively check a consent box agreeing to receive text messages before any message is sent. Consent is not pre-checked and is not a condition of creating an account or using the Service.

The opt-in consent form users complete at signup:

What we send

Example message: "I'll Be There: Lily has a soccer game today at 10:00 AM at Riverside Fields. Tap for directions. Reply STOP to opt out."

How to opt out or get help

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by turning off notifications in your profile settings. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
